About My Blogs

In October 2012 I began an open-ended sabbatical after more than 30 years of consulting for healthcare and human services clients.  At that time I started this blog, Midlife Sabbatical, to chronicle my reflections on navigating the transitions that occur at this stage in life.  After several months of sabbatical I decided to pursue a Masters of Divinity at the Earlham School of Religion (Quaker), and in June 2013 I started a second blog, Midlife Seminary, to explore the spiritual/religious topics that arise along this journey.  Midlife Sabbatical will continue to cover topics with a broader, more secular focus.
